D6G: The Lost Chapters is a premium product we're offering. A "Lost Chapter" is an audio book about 30-60 minute in length. Each Lost Chapter "book" will feature original content that may be about anything. It may extend a topic discussed on the D6 Generation podcast, it may be an experimental segment, who can say? Only Charlie the cherub knows for sure. By purchasing a $2.00 (US) lost chapter you're helping support the show AND getting exclusive content from The D6G Team. We hope you enjoy the Lost Chapters! There are two ways to get the Lost Chapters, either get them via our premium subscription service or download the books you'd like individually. The choice is yours. Lost Chapter Subscriptions We use the "My Libsyn" premium subscription service to provide a convienent way to listen to the Lost Chapters. With a premium subscription you can listen to Lost Chapters via our iOS/Android app or directly via our episodes page by clicking the play button. Best part about the app? No funky RSS feeds to fiddle with. To get a subscription:
Buy Chapters Individually
* We've discontinued using Ambling Books due to issues with the service. If you have any questions please contact info@TheD6Generation.com

The libsyn service does NOT offer ala carte, it's based on the Netflix model, while you are a subscriber you have access to everything. We still offer the individual download options as listed above if you'd like to get Lost Chapter episodes individually.

I have one question, does Libsyn's premium service allow for something like just buying credits that I can then use to purchase episodes of the Lost Chapters ala carte? Or, even better, to have a plan that's flexible with, say, (x) downloads over the next two years? There are times when one topic or another doesn't interest me and it would be nice to opt out of receiving that month's episode, but still keep ties with the subscription, especially now that the price of the Lost Chapters has doubled.

I have bought both Chapter 1 and 2. I really liked the first one and since I am playing deathwatch next weekend it openedmy eyes to what i could do in the game and how much fun I will be having! The second one was good to get your guys thoughts and impressions of the interview and there were a couple of new things that came up. I must have good hearing however as I picked up on most of the stuff the first time round. I am happy with both my dollars spent as both of them helped me stay focused on my hobby time and helped support the show which is always a good thing. Keep these coming. Oh and next time don't do it in a Dunkin' Doughnut!

I have to agree with some of the earlier comments. If this is not accessible through iTunes I will not remember to check, and I am certainly not paying for "mystery" shows. The D6G is great, but not every element is to my taste...but strangely, I would also be happy with a monthly subscription.

Enjoyed the show, was great to hear about Deathwatch. I've now started arranging my own game and bought the rules. Really wished I bought the second option and not ambling. Putting aside the delay in being able to download it the app doesn't intergrate well with the iPhone. Chapter6 will be bpught another way. But I will be buying them all the way. I'd love to hear more Deathwatch or even some actual play. However I trust you guys to provide quality whatever. Oh, and my wife was not impressed by my rendition of Craig's Nam Nam Doctor joke!

I was interested in giving this a shot, but lost interest when I realized it would not be available through iTunes. One podcast I listen to (Doug Loves movies) has put out bonus episode as albums on iTunes. I think they said Apple's minimum price for an album was $1.99. I'd be happy to pay that for more quality content from the D6G. Another podcast I listen to (Never Not Funny) does it another way. They have a free iTunes feed that has the first 20 minutes of every episode on it, or you can pay for a subscription. If you pay for a subscription you get access to a page that lets you play the full episodes or subscribe to them with iTunes or Zune. If we have to buy the episode individually then I too would like to know what the show was about before I buy it, as I'm not interested in every topic you guys talk about on the show. I wouldn't care as much if it was a subscription though. Funny how the mind works. I don't want to buy something and then find out I have no interest in the topic, but if I buy a package then I'm ok with not liking every episode. Thanks for all the hard work you guys put into the show. It's one of my favorites.

I bought the "Lost Chapter" (along with the other items posted). I really enjoyed the recap of the play session. Maybe if you folks run something like that again (or one of the other FFG 40K RPG games), try a recording of the actual session! Thanks for posting it!
