So many games, so little time... but what should you get excited about?  In the new segment "Hype or Tripe" the D6G team examines some of the things on their radar and tries to decide is it worth the hype?  Or is it gonna be tripe?

Later, Raef has somehow convinced Russ that it's time to review Agricola.  And Russ agrees!  They examine Agricola in detail... why does Raef love it?  How does it play?  Has Russ finally fallen in love with farming? And where was Craig for the second bit?

Kevin Clark of The Warstore joins the D6G crew for Rapid Fire, then we talk about how challenging it was to set up a new convention from scratch.  Kevin fills us in on all the details of The Warstore Weekend.

Later the D6G crew grabs the hot new game from Wizards of the Coast: Castle Ravenloft.  Is it Dungeons and Dragons 4e light?  Or is it a board game gateway to the RPG?  Or something else?  Listen to the rules in detail and decide for yourself.

After that the boys take a look at two card games that are NOT, believe it or not, based on the Dominion mechanic!  Up first is the aforementioned Hex Hex XL, does the new bling improve the game?  And how could we resist taking a look at Death Angel: The Space Hulk card game from Fantasy Flight games.

GenCon 2010 is over and we've got some exciting stuff to talk about from our visit.  The boys discuss their entire adventure during an extended Achievements in Gaming.  What they played, what was the new hotness, and highlights.

If you're still with us after all that, be sure to catch Raef and Russ interviewing Matt Wilson.  Matt brings us up to speed with his pet projects, i.e. movies and video games.  And gives us the Privateer Press state of the union, er, pirates.

That should be enough, but why stop there?  Total Fan Girl interviews the cast of The Guild, and we have LIVE FROM GENCON: It's Play by Mob.

One of the best things about GenCon is being able to chat with the folks who bring us the wonderful games and tools we use to enjoy our hobby.

In this special bonus episode the D6G team bring you interviews with just a few of the companies at GenCon that caught our eye this year:

 - Dungeon Crawler: Interesting Card Game

 - Exillis: We get an update from the makers of the hybrid video/miniatures war game. (5 min mark)

 - Fantasy Grounds Virtual Tabletop: Play your RPG's over the 'net.  (12 min mark)

 - Mantic Games: Fantastic miniatures that caught HD's eye.  (16 min mark)

 - Outbreak Undead: A brand new Zombie Survival RPG. (27 min mark)

 - Star Trek Games from Wizkids: Wizkids changes tactics and creates two meatier games based on the Star Trek license: Fleet Captains and Expeditions, which is designed by Reiner Knizia. (32 min mark)

It's been just about a year since the launch of Malifaux.  The D6G team was happy to sit down with Eric Johns, the big cheese over at Wyrd Miniatures to discuss how the game did in year one, and what the new hotness is in the latest book and releases for the Malifaux miniature game.

Later Raef and Russ take advantage of Craig being distracted with a new son to discuss video games. With a focus on the recently released Starcraft 2 they examine what makes these games appealing.

We know it's the middle of summer, but winter is coming.  So we thought it would be best to start training now with Fantasy Flight Game's latest release "Battles of Westeros, a Battlelore Game."  (aka BoW)

First the D6G team chats with Robert Kouba, the man behind the new game.  What inspired the game?  And why base it on the Battlelore system?

Later it's time to dive deep into the mechanics of BoW and learn just what makes it tick with a detailed review.  Does the game feel like Battlelore?  Does it capture the world of George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire?

Episode 59 is truly Epic, both in length and content!

First up the D6G team welcomes back Ross Watson from Fantasy Flight Games.  Ross brings us up to speed on the latest Warhammer 40,000 role playing game: Deathwatch.  Now you can play Space Marines!  How do the different chapters work?  What new Chapter did FFG invent?  What makes it different from Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader?

With all that talk of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Raef, Craig, and Russ felt it was time to tackle Epic: Armageddon.  Small in scale doesn't mean small in game play.  We discuss the game in detail.

And be sure to catch Total Fan Girl this week as she interviews three pro-gamers from the "Fragdolls."  What is it like to be a gamer on the pro vid-game circuit?
